Before rescate playas began to fix things up, the abandoned building had graffiti inscribed "Motel Borinquen" on its walls. One can only guess what is was used for haha

This was a concrete/cement house built by the Almeyda Family in the 1930's and included a car Garage. After the land was expropriated in 1939, the military turned it into a Former Ramey AFB Military Auxiliary Radio Station Building. Right now the land is leased for cattle growers.

I lived in Tropical Acres around 1972-1973. I couldn't find the entrance to it from base. Is there any other way to get in that area? I know it is abandoned. Just wanted to go around where I used to live.

Este tunel del sector La Cambija en Aguadilla,era un camino por donde los camiones de ca~a pasaban,despues de descargar en los vagones del ferrocarril en este sector ,llamado asi porque hubo una cambija,o un tipo de caja de agua donde se suplian los trenes.

Yo vivo cerca de ahi, a pesar de estar abandonadas tienen una furte vigilancia varias veces eh entrado y eh tenido que escapar, ahora pusieron letreros que dicen que es propiedad federal y que penalizaran a los que pasen
